Quinoa was cultivated approximately 4000 years ago in the Andes. Today it is grown in the traditional way, known for centuries. It is rich in protein, contains essential amino acids, potassium and calcium. Quinoa is easily boiled for 15-20 minutes in a ratio of 1:2 quinoa to water. It is suitable for vegetarian dishes, as well as a side dish to meat or fish.
